What if your music could become a gift you share with others? Music has the capacity to not only fill a room, but be the highlight of someone else's day. How rewarding would it feel to witness the passion you have for your instrument or favorite songs to give rise to a smile on someone's face?
Founded in 2021 by CEO Katelyn Lee, Healing with Music has been creating countless smiles on faces ever since. Through the formation of various ensembles, and events that promote music and mindfulness, our organization has uplifted various communities across over 6 states and 22 different chapters.
At the heart of Healing with Music’s mission is the belief that music is more than just a performance—it is a form of connection. Whether it's hearing a familiar melody that brings back a cherished memory, or a performance that unites individuals together, music has shown its unique ability to reach individuals in ways words often cannot.
Our members transform their passion for music into meaningful experiences by sharing their performances with senior living communities, healthcare settings, and other local organizations. These performances are not only impactful for the audiences we serve but for the musicians who discover a larger purpose behind their art.
Take a look at these recent performances from our Dix Hills and Setauket chapters!

You do not need to be a professional musician to be part of this mission. Healing with Music welcomes anyone who believes in the power of music and wants to use their creativity to make a positive impact on others. Ways to get involved include writing for our blog, supporting outreach efforts, and helping organize events. You can do so by contacting healingwmusic@gmail.com and expressing your interest. And if you enjoy performing, you are more than welcome to fill out our “Performance Volunteer Form,” located on the homepage of our site.
Ready to make a difference? Join a Healing with Music chapter, start one in your own community, or contribute to our blog! Together, we can continue using music as a source of healing and connection.
